Rainbow LEUNG 李香䔵 

Growing up in Ha Wo Che Village of Hong Kong, Rainbow Leung enjoys observing people, and  listen to their stories. While characterised by free-flowing spontaneity, her art is balanced and orderly, and every stroke she paints captures fleeting moments in life. Graduated in Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University major in painting and creative media. Publications include Sha Ha Wo Che Village in 2009, Hong Kong Citizen Dictionary in 2012. In 2015, she was invited to take part in Pop Up Press #3, her debut works in printmaking, she created a series of silk screen prints about Shatin, expressing her hope for harmony between the city development and while preserving the suburban village landscape. Rainbow is also an art tutor, strongly believes that learning how to appreciate tiny things in life is the key to the spiritual development of the little ones.

Rainbow now devotes herself to community art projects, using her painting brush as a means to understand HongKong and express her care for it.

觀察入微、走筆活潑的插畫家。畢業於香港理工大學設計系及香港城市大學創意媒體學院,主修藝術繪畫及電影。2009年圖文繪本《上.下禾輋》記述了她在鄉村長大的故事,以表達出對人和大自然的關懷。於明報刊登專欄,尋訪不同香港平民足跡故事,2012年結集成《尋人啟事上·下冊》。同時是藝術導師的李香蘭,熱衷和小朋友到處寫生作畫,深信學習欣賞小事物,是奠定心靈成長的基石。現積極投入社區創作,以藝術和這城市共同進退。
